This original watercolour depicts the serenity and vibrancy of colour of an evening at the lake, as the water lilies absorb the last few moments of sunlight before they close up for the night. The perspective of the painting puts you low in the water, perhaps in the boat or on the dock, and what a perspective it is. Peace and tranquillity! Bring it into your space to enjoy the landscape, and the skill of this award-winning artist. Professionally framed and matted with archival materials in white double mat and soft silver aluminum frame.

The Artist: Tiina Price, a Blair Village, Ontario artist has been painting professionally for over 15 years. Educated at Queen’s University, the University of Waterloo and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Tiina has always had a love of art and believes in the necessary and magical connection between hand, head and heart. Her travels to northern Ontario and Europe inspire her work.
“Painting watercolours allows the nuances of nature to unfold. I am continually intrigued by the play of light on water, the shadows in foliage, the changeability of skies and the vibrancy or subtlety of colour. As a medium, watercolour permits me to experiment capturing transparency and form. My paintings celebrate not only the energy and vitality of life, but its serenity and harmony.” Tiina’s work depicts a range of subjects including landscape, still life, abstraction and portraiture, and has won a number of awards.
